As a longtime assistant to Prof. Tomasz Herbut at the HKB and Konstantin Lifschitz at the HSLU, Igor Andreev comes into contact with many young pianists as part of his work. After the Bernese Chopin Society dissolved in 2015, in which he himself had performed as an aspiring pianist, he thought long and hard about a possible successor series that would continue to provide a platform for young pianists.

Philippe Gaspoz combines artistic experience with cultural management know-how: After successfully completing his concert diploma at the Bern University of the Arts, he completed his master's degree in culture and media management at the HfMT Hamburg. Since then, he has always included both perspectives in his projects. His previous experiences have shown him what radiance and potential classical music can have in our society if one dares to have an honest exchange on eyelevel with the audience.
